Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan
Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan provides families with a place for home-cooked meals, space for siblings to play, and a comfortable bed close to the hospital where loved ones spend countless hours with a sick child. In 2019, RMHMM provided a home away from home for 148 families, who each stayed an average of 15 days.
As a volunteer at the House, I took pride in contributing to the comfort of these guests when they needed it most. Preparing their rooms for tranquility and a good night’s sleep, cooking meals with love, and packing bags with essential supplies, gave me a sense of purpose knowing I had contributed to such an important cause.
