Hello.

Let me introduce myself.

My name is Chelsey, and I’m an introverted Swiftie. I love traveling, cats, coffee, and running the occasional half marathon, even if it’s a 5K most of the time. My hobbies include listening to audiobooks and making eco-friendly swaps around my home.

I have a chronic bug for travel.

I love to travel. As soon as I check one destination off my list, at least three more are added. I especially enjoy exploring cities with the best public transit and even better restaurants. Recently, I have enjoyed trips to Paris, London, New York City, and Washington D.C.

I find homes for cats.

Constellation Cat Cafe is a coffee shop and temporary home for adoptable cats. I serve as Vice President on their Executive Board of Directors and regularly volunteer in the cat room. I also represent the Cafe at outreach events, such as the Capital Area Human Society's annual Walk for the Animals.

I did it for the car sticker.

Since the Grand Rapids marathon in 2018, I’m still running while avoiding double-digit miles. I am usually a fair-weathered runner but during the pandemic, I ran outside even when icicles formed on my eyelashes. I have since rejoined the gym, happy to be back on the treadmill when it’s cold outside.
